The Teacher, the Master

In the darkness of the night, the teacher is a glowing light,
A lamp within the shadows, the teacher is the moon so bright.

A guide upon the journey, the teacher ever stays,
A beacon in the heavens, a light that shows the way.

Like violets in the meadow, how pleasant is the sight,
Like blossoms red and snowy white, the teacher is delight.

A prophet of pure knowledge, a bearer of the truth,
A caring soul, a guiding hand, like a father from our youth.

Learn from nature’s wisdom, from gardens pure and grand,
Learn from every teacher—soul and spirit in their hand.

O noble master, may your days and nights be blessed,
May your nights shine like daylight, in beauty manifest.

Know well the worth of learning—its sacrifice is grand,

فی ظلمة اللیل، المعلم هو النور المتألق،
کالمصباح فی الظلال، المعلم هو القمر المضیء.

المعلم مرشد فی الطریق، یبقى دائمًا،
کمنارة فی السماء، یهدی الطریق.

مثل زهرة البنفسج فی الحقل، هو لطیف للغایة،
مثل الأزهار الحمراء والبیضاء، المعلم هو البهجة.

شعر "معلم" از شاپور (دکتر حجت اله سلیمانی) که در تاریخ 11 اردیبهشت 1403 به مناسبت روز معلم در ایران سروده شده است، به ویژگی‌ها و مقام والا و معنوی معلمان پرداخته و اهمیت آموزش و پرورش را در شکل‌دهی به جامعه و فرد تبیین می‌کند. این شعر در قالبی ساده و سرشار از استعاره‌ها و تصاویر زیبا، نقش معلم را نه تنها در تعلیم و تعلم، بلکه در هدایت روحی و اخلاقی دانش‌آموزان به تصویر کشیده است. با تحلیل عناصر زبانی، تصویری و نمادین در این شعر، می‌توان به درک عمیق‌تری از تأثیرات مثبت معلم در شکوفایی شخصیت فردی و اجتماعی دست یافت.
